A True Whitefriars Studio Art Vase S3, 1970 by Peter Wheeler. A rare Whitefriars studio art vase created in 1970 from a design by Peter Wheeler. The true studio range were engraved on the base with a creation date and shape code, such as this example.

The vase is the S3 shape in the "Orange" range. These were made with orange and brown stripes suspended between a twilight exterior and white interior case. The colouring is created with the use of silver chloride. The base is script engraved with "Whitefriars", "S3" and date "1970".

Condition is excellent with some expected shelf-wear on the base only. Height approx 3.5 inches and diameter approx 6.5 inches. Pictures are of the actual piece for sale. Alternatively you can pay cash on arranged collection.
