Designer Richard Konold was inspired to create this imaginative personification of his dreams by the famous Monaco Circus Festival. He was really impressed by the clowns performance, which gave him the idea of designing a very special clown Teddy bear Several attempts were produced before the designer got the combination of bear and clown just right. The resulting 2-colour clown Teddy bear is delightful with his red nose, his large "made-up" eyes and his wide grin. Each bear in this high-quality edition has a white consecutively numbered ear tag and a gold-plated "Button in Ear". Bear is in fair condition. Box is in poor condition.
