Nancy's work explores universal themes like love, loss and human vulnerability from her experience of life as a disabled woman. In her early career, Nancy joyfully embraced the freedoms of being an artist in contrast to the restrictions she had experienced in her education at a'special' school. Nancy was Artist in Residence at Hammersmith Hospital and Byam Shaw School of Art. She has exhibited in the Whitechapel Open, Diorama Art Gallery, Laing Art Gallery, and BBC Television Centre. In lovely condition with some small signs of wear, fading and discoloration commensurate with age.
