THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL AND VERY RARE HALCYON DAYS ENGLISH ENAMEL TRINKET BOX WITH A SCENE FROM THE TALES OF BEATRIX POTTER. THIS SCENE IS OF PETER AND FRIENDS GATHERING WOOD IN SNOW. THE BOX IS CRAFTED IN THE TRADITIONAL STYLE OF THE 18. CENTURY AND IS MADE BY APPLYING LAYER ON LAYER OF ENAMEL OVER A FRAMEWORK OF COPPER, WHICH GIVES IT THE RICH BRIGHT COLOURS.

EACH ITEM IS MADE IN ENGLAND TO A VERY HIGH SPECIFICATION. THE TRINKET BOX IS APPROX 5.00 WIDE X 3.7 LONG 2.4 CM TALL.
