The watch is in great condition with just a few small light scratches around the case from weekend use, there are also some very feint marks to the crystal - the camera won't pick them up & you can't feel them with a fingernail. The bezel clicks round positively & the crown unscrews and locks down tight again. It is not completely unmarked as it is not new but I feel it's been well looked after. As is the model intact even down to the propellers & Dambusters bouncing bomb on the trolley!

It is a full set & includes. Outer card box for both model plane & watch. Inner Bakelite box - with all letters in place. Limited edition certificate detailing watch number. Instruction manual, authorised distributors list & Lancaster tag.

Lancaster BIII model showing the plane in its Dambusters guise of 617 SQN. The Blackbird is a classic Breitling watch coming in at 40mm & is fitted with the Breitling Calibre 13 auto movement with a 42 hour power reserve. It has been checked recently & was running spot on at +/- 0 seconds a day. Overall it is a great looking watch & the fighter bracelet is very comfortable on. With only 60 made these are a rare find indeed, especially as a complete set with the plane & all booklets.
