Impressive Royal Worcester figure of a Shire Horse, measuring 9'' high by 9 1/4'' long. This figure was designed by Doris Lindner & produced in 1964 in an edition size of 500 pieces, this is number 457 of that edition.

Three of the ceramic ribbons on the Shires Maine are missing as pictured, common on this horse as they easily snap off. Not a hard or expensive job for a ceramic restorer, still displays well. This comes with its original wooden crate/box (which is heavy) but it lacks the wood plinth which the figure sits in, however it does have the certificate as pictured.
